This dress was $10 at the Gap. Ridic.

These photos feature the gorgeous scar(s) on my ankle and document the mosquito-ness of the day. I had to run for my life! 

Since my ankle surgery years back, I can pretty much only wear wedge style shoes if I want some height but I figured I wouldn't be doing much distance walking at the wedding so I went for the heel. Didn't factor in squishy grass element so they were like flats anyway as they sunk immediately. Ah well, "A" for effort right?

And on a side note, the photos were taken at my parents house. It always looks great in the spring and it's back in a wooded area of town.

Weekend events included a tented wedding with family at Lincoln Park, a brunch for Father's Day, visits with more family, and a quick stop at Founder's for a Wild Mountain Brown microbrew with friends. Mmm...
