I will never claim to be a good gardener but so far I haven't killed gourmet lettuces, herbs, or beans. Luckily I can cook so I'm thinking eating the last of the basil with the last of the farmers market tomatoes if there are any this weekend, and steamed green beans on the salad with salmon and a dijon vinaigrette. I need to milk as much out of the last pick before the frost as I can. Bye bye summer!
